PSG FAQs

PSG Grant applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Your business should register and operate in Singapore
  • Subscription/purchase of IT solutions should be used in Singapore
  • SMEs should have a minimum of 30% local shareholding; with Company’s Group annual sales turnover less than S$100 million, OR less than 200 employees (for selected solutions only)

Eligible employers who fulfil the following criteria can also qualify for additional subsidies under the SkillsFuture Enterprise Credits (SFEC) scheme:

  • Have contributed at least S$750 Skills Development Levy over the qualifying period
  • Have employed at least three Singapore Citizens (SCs) or Permanent Residents (PRs) every month over the same period
  • Have not been qualified for SFEC at any of the earlier periods.

PSG does not subsidize any hardware, but some vendors may have approved hardware included for digitalization.

If you were able to prepare and submit all required documents when you applied, it may take about 4-6 weeks for you to receive word if your Grant was approved or not.

Upon approval and deployment of the solution, expect to wait a minimum of 30 days after deployment.

You may either pre-terminate the contract and locate a more suitable vendor whose solution is pre-approved by Enterprise Singapore’s, or you may raise the issue directly with the vendor, and then discuss with the IMDA/PSG for mediation.

When speaking to IMDA/PSG, you will also have to discuss how much of the grant you have already consumed. Depending on the solution and what grant category you want to move to, you may have to reapply for the Grant, or submit an application to change vendors and consume your remaining Grant with this new vendor.
