When the clock strikes midnight, a display of fireworks takes centre stage, with colourful bursts illuminating the night sky. Make sure to take part in the celebrations with the crowd as you count down to the new year since there will undoubtedly be a buzz of excitement in the air. With staggering worldwide box office receipts of $2.84 billion (all in US dollars), it holds the record for the highest-grossing film of all time. Good news for all Avatar fans: Gardens by the Bay has just revealed that as part of their 10-year anniversary celebrations, there will be an Avatar-themed event at the Cloud Forest. The Cloud Forest already has some similarities to the fictional world of Pandora, which has a setting that is constantly covered in lush vegetation and magnificent waterfalls. There will be five distinct zones with bioluminescent backgrounds, ethereal creatures, and an abundance of flora and plant life once the transformation is complete.

Since this is a walkthrough event, it will almost feel like you are ambling through Pandora’s grounds. This is one event you want to travel down for when you can fly your own mountain banshee through the Hallelujah Mountains or be among the first to meet a new marine creature Ilu that will make its debut in the Avatar sequel: The Way of Water.
